The Jolly Mon King Classic is the season's first King Mackerel tournament.  It was founded in 1992 and has grown to be one of the largest King Mackerel fishing tournaments in the country; annually hosting 250+ teams.  The entry fee is $400 with total payouts in excess of $100,000; typically with the first place winner taking home $30,000+.  

The Jolly Mon is known for its family atmosphere and quality of production.  Kid's activities are featured, including the Pogy Bobbing Contest, Rock the Dock kids dock tournament and the Jolly Mon Junior tournament.  In addition, the top 20 junior anglers are awarded prizes, and ALL junior anglers who weigh a fish in the Jolly Mon are awarded for their effort.
